Scott Cornwall Hair Color Remover Review

So I am one of those girls who gets bored very easily with my hair and loves to change it up a bit. However my hair got really damaged so I had it dyed back to my natural colour and left it. For about 12 months. Than I decided I wanted caramel foils. I only went with half head instead of a full like I normally would. They turned out blonde. I think the lady missed the final step. Two days later I went to a different hair dresser who just toned them and than I had caramel. This lasted about two-three weeks. I didn't like the foils or my hair quite that caramelly colour. So off I went again to a different hair dressers for a darker brown, more like my natural colour again which is a medium brown. She dyed my hair so dark it looked black. A week of this and it didn't fade at all with washing.

I turned to the Vitamin C method where you crush vitamin c tablets into a powder, mix with head and shoulders shampoo and leave on your head for an hour before washing off. This had previous worked for me when I had blonde hair and had dyed brown than wanted the colour lifted. It did nothing. So I did my research and read a lot of positive reviews for hair colour removers.

Below is how dark my hair was before I started. I set about following the instructions exactly. The smell everyone talks about is real people! But it didn't linger much into the next day and wasn't totally overpowering so I'll live.

Before I used the colour remover

After I had washed it out, I could tell my hair had a kinda ginger touch to it even before I dried it. That is because black hair dye leaves you with red/gingerish colouring instead of your natural hair colour. Once dried it was a strawberry blondish colour and you could slightly see the foils still. Yuk lol. But it definitely had lightened a lot.

After one use of colour remover

Now I had read that you should wait a week before colouring your hair with a semi permanent hair dye as because your hair is now porous, the colour will be darker than you want. But I have a shoot coming up and couldn't wait that long. Also, the colour was just ugly. So I was up early the next morning getting hair dye. I couldn't find any semis light enough at the local Coles and I knew I couldn't get a light brown because it would end up too dark again. So I went with a dark cool blonde in a permanent dye. I probably should have got light cool blonde because it is definitely nowhere near a blonde colour at all now. But I had achieved what I wanted too and it is back to my natural colour.

After I put a cool dark blonde over it

I highly recommend this product. I would definitely use again but next time I would do it when I could afford to wait a week to redye. My hair is not damaged and is only slightly dry.

I have been to loads of massage places and Sally is by far one of the best. She uses nice smelling oils and just the right pressure.

SugarBear Hair Vitamins Review

What are they?

Taken from the website - "I formulated a vitamin using clinically proven ingredients that have been shown to promote faster hair growth, increased hair shine and reduce hair breakage." They are in the shape of little bears and taste really yummy.

The ingredients.

The vitamins contain Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin B-6, Folic Acid, Vitamin B-12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Iodine, Zinc, Choline, Inositol, as the active vitamins and minerals. The gummies are made with real berries for a deliciously sweet flavor, coconut oil, and a dash of sugar.

Where to buy?

You buy them online at http://www.sugarbearhair.com

How to take them.

Take two a day either together or at separate times during the day.

Do they work?

I had very damaged hair from two much dyeing. Nothing would help it look healthier or grow. I have been taking these for about two weeks now and I have noticeably seen a difference in my hair. It's healthier and thicker than it was before. I will continue to take them in hope that they help my hair grow. I did buy the next three bottles so I will update you again as to what happens after I've taken them for a longer period of time.

New Blog Posts Introduced

I am introducing some new blog topics to my blog. I am going to review Hair Dressers, Tanners, Massage Places, Health recipes and websites and other places that people use the services of frequently. Hopefully I will help some of you when it comes to deciding where you want to go. These will be places in the Lake Macquarie/Newcastle region.

I did for a time frequently use hair dressers as I had blonde hair and needed touching up every 6 weeks. Also, as my hair was very damaged, I had to go for treatments a lot too. I love a good massage and I'm yet to find one that I love so I use a lot of different people for these.

I am currently sitting here in Mine Tan 1 hour and waiting to wash it off. I haven't had a professional tan in like two and a half years so here's to hoping it comes out perfect. The result of this tan will be my first review and my next blog post. I'm hoping to get it up tomorrow or the next day so please check back for it.

Waiting for 1 hour Mine Tan to set so I can wash off.

If you have one of these places or another similar place you want reviewed, leave me a comment below and I may just pay them a visit for you.

IBS Sucks

If you don't have Irritable Bowel Syndrome or are close to someone who has it than you probably don't understand the feeling. But, if you do have it, than you will understand completely how bad it can be. I have IBS C with occasionally alternating between C and D. The pains in my abdomen, gas and bloated stomach have always been present. Some people are fortunate and only get ‘flare ups’ where it comes and goes or ‘good days’. I am unfortunate as I suffer daily and I've had it for as long as I remember. I wake up with a flat stomach but by night time I look nine months pregnant. I am not over weight at all. The rest of me is tiny.

I have been to countless Doctors, tried every treatment, had every test and all the diet eliminations. Nothing has ever stopped the bloating. Food elimination has helped but only slightly.

Endless hours sitting on the toilet. Panic and anxiety of always needing to know where the closest toilet is because you never know when it will hit you and your going to need a toilet fast. The stress caused by not fitting into your own clothes when the bloat is extra bad that day and looking pregnant by the time you go to bed each night.

Having IBS has caused me to suffer from anxiety daily and depression because I hate myself and always feel ‘fat’. Their isn't a day that goes by when I don't wish I could just eat like a ‘normal’ person.
